Now In Stereo! is a barbershop quartet from Adelaide, South Australia, keen to share their A Capella music with the rest of the world.
The four boys were first introduced to this amazing style of singing whilst attending school at Charles Campbell College together. The style grew on the boys very quickly, and they officially formed the group 'Now In Stereo' in early 2010.
In 2013 the boys travelled to Perth, WA, to compete in the BHA National Barbershop Competition. They returned amazed with their result after placing 2nd in the Youth category and 7th in Open. Winning the award for most improved quartet since the previous convention was an added bonus. The quartet look forward to touring to New Zealand later this year to compete in the Pan-Pacific Region Barbershop Competition, and to competing in the next BHA National Competition in 2015 which will be held in Melbourne. Recently, Now In Stereo won a number of awards at the Vocal Australia A Capella State Finals. They received second place of the overall competition, just behind the Festival Statesmen who took out first prize. Now In Stereo also won the title of "Best Band", as well as winning "Best Comedy Song", "Best Contemporary Song" and "Best Soloist" which was awarded to lead, John Khammash. As the second place winners, the group will travel to Melbourne in September to compete in the National Finals.
Having now sung together for over three years, these four young guys have wowed audiences with their beautiful harmonies and flavoursome sound, as well as adding comic flair to their performances. Though their ages range from only 18 to 20, these young singers consistently entertain their audiences with true professionalism.
